Here we have Jason Allen’s 2011 Audi A3. I took a few photos of it today and decided both the car, and the pictures looked too nice to throw them in with the rest of the Early Edition ones. So here is a short feature.

Interior Retrimmed in Pink by Plush.
Taroq 6 Pot Calipers.

You can try and slag it off, but it looks awesome. And you’d be a fool. Never have I really thought more than “Meh” about an A3 before this one. Love it.

Good show! Was visibly bigger this year with the same chilled out vibe. Managed to curb a wheel on the Bora, and while scraping it around the carpark I blew about 3 Lightblubs and added a weird squeek/rattle to it. It’s not a show car so I don’t really care luckily, don’t know how people can live with having air ride on nice cars. Temptation is too sweet to just scrape it around.

ANYWAY, pictures? Yes, I think so. I tried not to focus on all of the show cars, as there will be 110 million pictures of them anyway. So here’s the stuff that impressed me most, for various reasons.

This impressed me as it’s just so damn clean. Also, the driver was a hot girl.

Loved the way this MK2 wore it’s wheels.

This was banished to the Non-VAG carpark, and had a tryharder sticker. Whos is this? Make yourself known on our facebook page! Love the car.

Impressed by the way Dicko could polish off KFC.

Simple. Clean. Early MK2 GTI’s give me wood.

These wheels. Yes.

Crowds were impressive too.

Perrys Po, with Wire wheels. Give this guy an alloy and he’ll shit on your nan. True story.

Afterwards I went to the NON Vag car park to see Andy and co. Loved how empty it was.

Thats about it. In summary. IMPRESSIVE.

ANYWAY, the meet. Well we’ve done Stanceworks meets before but this was something I was looking forward to more than the others. It was quite a trek for me, Zi and Jamie but personally think it was worth it.

A couple of miles out side the T2D shop, a couple of us grouped to drive in. We were a tad early…

Also liked Zi’s present from a member of our little line up…

Did mean we got a good spot, and we could also sit back and watch the cool cars roll in. So much Air Cooled porn was there. And more and more kept showing up as the morning progressed. As well of this, a few popular cars atm.

Also, this was a nice surprise…

Loved the fact T2D had their workshop open up. Stuff of dreams, for most VW nuts…

Afterwards, me and Zi headed over to Andys (Blue MX) for a regroup. Pretty mundane journey, over than Zi managing to collect something at about 80mph. So that meant an unscheduled stop in… well fuck knows where it was!

Then after, we went down to the West London Collective meet. Which was fucking mad. Properly huge but only got a couple of pictures due to poor light, cold hands and the fact I was shattered. Sorry.

Awesome Sunday. Hopefully, more like it to come this year!

First stop and meeting point was Ace Cafe. The idea was to meet a few lads from Belgium, who had made the trip over to England for the South Mimms meet, and take them on a little trip around London.

In our group, we had the Z3, the Subaru, E46 Estate, Toyota Levin and Toyota Supra.

Unfortunately, we appeared to have arrived on some sort of Ford night. So parking was an issue. However, on the flipside we did meet some good lads from the Netherlands with nice cars who joined our group…

After a bit of a language barrier over the phone, we managed to get the guys from Belgium to the Ace.

And at about the same time, we also were joined by Kc in his Subaru.

Being a Ford meet, there was no shortage in quality motors…

Our cue to leave. So we went around the corner to the Petrol station to regroup and hand out maps and radios.

London is an awesome place to drive through at night. The noise of all those Civics, the Supra, The Subarus and the Z3. Epic! Although quite chaotic.

But we got to our first stop (The Graffiti tunnel) in the end.

After waving goodbye to the Civic boys, Kc and Dan, we continued into the night. Dodging Road works and the like on route to some tunnels.

So you give us an underground giant roundabout….

And Boys will be Boys.

All in all, an epic night. Bockett has some pictures to upload and I have a little video to make of some of the Tunnel noises etc. Props to the Civic guys for coming all this way to sample a bit of UK Car Culture, and also for having some super clean Hondas. Hope you enjoyed it as much as we did!

Not going all out with words on this. Here’s my take on the Good, The bad and the Circa 1990 styling. There really was a lot more shit there than captured oh and if you owned “Das Audi on Rotiform’s” you bagged an award!

Basically, us lot went to Belgium for the Heaven on Wheels show. First off, we met up with some of the Cleaned-UK lot on route to the Channel tunnel…

I went with Richard Boon, aka Booner in his Z4M. And what an epic road trip car it was! As well as my camera, Booner also bought along his GoPro HD Hero2. My plan was to film a lot of stuff on the trip, both for the banter and to help me get better at my editing skills.

Then we convoyed down to Folkstone, where I got a nice snap of the “Phocus”.

Now Walky Talky banter aside, we had a bit of an issue getting on the train. You see, 90% of our convoy (Including Zi and Bockett) were denied access to the train for being “Too Low”. So we fucked off without them.

Enter France, and we then have to wait for them. News over text from Ertl (Travelling with Zi) was that a supervisor came down and gave them the all clear to travel. So they got the train after the next one (Due to Zi’s battery dying they couldn’t get the one right after).

Then we got the convoy going again. Was fantastic seeing it when it re-grouped…

Hotel night, crazy shit etc. etc. Then I only got a few at the show…

Zi’s new look for 2012 people, get used to it. You just know it’s going to be everywhere this show season.

Then home again! Caught this on the M25…

I’m sure Bockett will be better with words. Or you can just watch 2/3 of the Video’s I’ve uploaded so far. Will add these aren’t anything to do with lowlife, just a little project I took upon myself…

Me, Zi and Ertle headed up in my Winter spec/fail spec Bora. Early start, and didn’t get back ’till late. As ever, a big show with a lot to see. You had the manufacturers showing off the latest track metal, as well as a nice amount of classic automotive porn.

Even had time to stop for food.

And get distracted by wheels…

Always liked this Car/Livery. Why? Because I had a toy one as a kid. It’s just that simple.

Didn’t actually expect to see RWB this early, but here we are. Shame about the Auto Gearbox fail. But it does look sick.

Ertle seemed to get distracted by Simulators a fair bit.

There were lots of promo SLOOTS/Hoochies/slags but I didn’t get pictures as I’m not fat and weird. Yet.
